Channel 9 (Thessaloniki) : ウィキペディア英語版 | Channel 9 (Thessaloniki) Channel 9 is regionally television station, based in Thessaloniki. Owned property in Kosmoradiotileoptiki SA whose shareholder is the Sixomen Limited (100%) which belongs to DEMKA Investment and Trading SA with participation of the 32.36% stake. It is considered as a non-informative channel according to the ESR. == The History Channel == Launched on April 7, 1992 as a music channel named CosmoTV / KosmoTV and was originally property of Kosmoradio 95,1 local radio station which operates from 1987 until today. In 1999 it changed ownership and was renamed COSMOS TV. From plain musician was entertaining station and started cooperation with the also newly created regional station of Athens, POLIS (now Channel 9 Greece). Broadcast daily several entertainment programs, such as movies and children's cartoons of Nickelodeon. In late 2007 it was renamed to the current, transmitting above entertainment, film shows in cooperation with the Village Cinemas and children's animation projects foreign producers (usually Canada, Japan and Italy) together with the Channel 9.
